2023WWC: ENGLAND PLAYERS CELEBRATED THEIR VICTORY AFTER CLASH WITH SUPER FALCONS

European champions England have defeated nine-time Women’s African Cup of Nation Winners Nigeria, 4-2 on penalties for a place in the quarter-finals of the ongoing Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The round of 16 games ended goalless in normal and extra-time at the Brisbane stadium in Australia. The first and second half was  intense as both team could quarter not score a goal. This was followed up by penalty and Nigerian’s losses to England.

The game ended with 4-2 which means Nigerian’s players are no longer qualify for the -final.
