Madam Katherine Konyenasua Ubah for Burial Friday

All is set to the burial of the late Madam Katherine Konyenasua Ubah on Friday (December 8, 2022) in her hometown, Utagba Ogbe, Kwale, Ndokwa-West local council of Delta State. The late Madam Ubah, aged 88, joined her ancestors last October.

A statement jointly signed by Dr Joe Ubah and Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa son and son-in-law respectively to the late matriarch stated that activities marking the final burial rites will commence on Thursday with a service of songs at her residence, No 87 Umuseti Road, Utagba-Ogbe, Kwale, Delta state.

The statement added that there would be a funeral service for the late Madam Ubah at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment and reception of guests follow immediately after the funeral service at the family residence.

Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa described her late mother-in-law as a unique woman who treated him like her biological son adding that he would not have wished for a better mother-in-law.

Ohuabunwa, a former presidential aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), noted that the late Madam Ubah was a peaceful, loving and caring woman whom any man would wish to have as mother-in-law

According to him, the late matriarch of the Ubah family was self-contended during her lifetime and never burdened her relations with demands but rather appreciated gifts and other acts of kindness extended to her.

The late Madam Ubah is survived by three children, three sons-in-law, eight grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and a host of other relations.
