My Administration Has Set Abia state On The Right Track …. Ikpeazu

The Governor of Abia state ,Dr  Okezie Ikpeazu has disclosed that  his administration has set the state on the right track as the narratives of the state are changing for the better.

He  stated this when he received in audience, members of the Inter-party Advisory Council IPAC Abia State chapter led by the Chairman, Hon Ceekay Igara at Government House Umuahia.

He noted  that though, his government has not done everything, it certainly has recorded bold achievements in various sectors of the state economy including the SME sector,ease of doing business and direct foreign investments, among others.

 Governor Ikpeazu however maintained  that his government would remain tenacious in completing its ongoing projects as well as open new vistas.

 He also stated that the NEWMAP projects for the reconstruction of Ngwa Road, Ohanku and Uratta were on course while the State Government is determined to fix Port Harcourt Road, having completed drainage works on the road. 

He  said that Abia state  is blessed with great men and women who have continued to make their marks in various fields of endeavor while urging some  persons to stop  demarketing the state for selfish reasons 

Earlier, the State Chairman of IPAC, Hon Ceekay Igara expressed appreciation to the Governor for providing the platform for IPAC to interface with his government and for the enhanced security in the state while  urging him to sustain it.

He  further informed the Governor that the state will be hosting the South East IPAC to a 2-day retreat during which time they will be inspecting ongoing and completed projects by his government, adding that he has formed a think- tank to support the development of the state through the help of Abians in Diaspora.
