Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba at UNESCO

Minister of State for Education, Hon. Emeka Nwajiuba, is one of the members of the Muhammadu Buhari cabinet whose composure, sense of duty and presence of mind, rekindle hope in the promise of the youth of the country. The former member of the House of Representatives and one-time Chairman of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) can be described as ubiquitous, as far as management of education is concerned.

Tireless and relentless, his face was a permanent future of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 where he had the arduous task of explaining to worried parents and guardians why their children and wards should either be in school or out of school. The 54-year old minister continues to acquit himself with honor and dignity as seen during the last General Conference of the UNESCO where he represented the country.
