KADUNA GOVERNMENT SOLICITS MEDIA SUPPORT FOR A HITCH-FREE 2023 CENSUS EXERCISE.

He said, we need the support of media establishments in the state to ensure the success of the exercise.

The Kaduna state government, on Tuesday seeks the support of media establishments to educate residents of the state on the 2023 population and housing census.

The commissioner, planning and budget commission, Hajiya Umma Aboki, made an appeal in Kaduna, at the opening of a one-day sensitization workshop for the 2023 census Media and publicity sub-committee in the state.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the state Government in collaboration with the National Population Commission (NPC), in March inaugurated Media and Publicity, and Security sub-committees for a successful exercise.

Hajiya Umma Aboki said that to ensure a smooth conduct of the exercise scheduled for May 3 to May 5, residents must be educated and enlighten on the processes to keep them prepared and ready.

The commissioner said that residents need to know the key information that would be required from them to ensure data credibility and quality.

As such, we need the support of media establishments in the state to ensure the success of the exercise’.
