Mazi Ohuabunwa to Nigerians: A New Dawn is About to Break

A leading contender for the Presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, has urged Nigerians to hold fast and never lose hope as a new dawn is about to break in the country.

Ohuabunwa, who spoke shortly after submitting his nomination forms at the PDP secretariat in Abuja, urged Nigerians not to lose faith in the country as a new wind of change is set to sweep across the country and restore Nigeria to its rightful place in the comity of nations.

Ohuabunwa declared that his submission of Expression of Interest and Nominations Forms was indicative of his seriousness to seek election into the highest office of the country.

He stated he is the most serious candidate in the main opposition party seeking to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari come May 29, 2023.

“I am the most serious candidate. I have been to all the 36 states of Nigeria, twice meeting people one-on-one while others are somewhere gathering people. The other day, I was in Zamfara, Kebbi and Sokoto States. Anybody who is not serious cannot do what I am doing.

“I have moved around the country, meeting people, listening to their problems and empathizing with them. So, my chances are as high as any. That there are 17 or 18 aspirants is not the issue. At the end, water would find its level.

“I urge Nigerians to be hopeful, a new government is coming, we are going to enthrone a new Nigeria by 2023, a country that would be a first world nation, a country that would work for everyone, a country of prosperity, justice and security”, the presidential aspirant further declared.
