World Photography Day: Bauchi gov donates N5 million to Photographers

In commemoration of the World Photography Day, Bauchi state governor Bala Mohammed has today donated the sum of N5 million to the Association of Professional Photographers in the state. 
Governor Bala, who received the Association who paid a solidarity visit at the Government House in Bauchi, to throw their weight behind the several calls for the governor to declare interest for the 2023 Presidential race
He described Photographers as partners in progress and appreciate their support and cooperation to his administration in the state. However charged them to embrace Science and Technology to excel in their profession. 

The governor who pleged to allocate an office for the photographers to serve as an archive for gallery artwork in the future, adding that his administration is making plans to awards a contract for the establishment of a modern Museum in the state, 
“I am highly impressed by your concerns about me to run e for the 2023 Presidential race. If given the opportunity to serve this country, I will bring back the loss glory of our cultural heritage and historic legacies. 
Governor Mohammed thanked the association for  their support assured them of his administration support to actualized their dreams 
Earlier in his remark, the leader of the Association Eng. Seth Francis said the Association is one of the largest Photographers body in the entire north eastern region, adding that they have over 300 registered members across all the 20 local government areas in the state. 
He said the group decided to used occasion of the World Photography Day to paid a solidarity visit to the Governor considering his numerous achievements of social and infrastructural development within the 26 months at the mantle of leadership in the state 
Francis explained that the Association is willing to participate actively towards projecting, promoting and publicizing the governor activities and policies for him to succeed in his ambition of becoming the next president of Nigeria.. 
He, however solicited for a new Gallery Museum for photographers in the state to enable them trained their members to become professional photographers, as well as to use the office in showcasing and exhibitions of talents towards promoting and improving the economic growth of the state and the country at large.  
The coalition groups comprises the Bauchi State Photographers Video Coverage Association (BSPVCA) and Bauchi State Association of Professional Photographers (BASPPAN).
