Restitution Aids Healings of Family, Land, Nation – Muoka

The General-Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, on Thursday said that the act of restitution could promptly heal the land, family, society and nation.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that restitution means the restoration of something that is lost or stolen to its rightful owner/s.
Muoka, who stressed the need for Nigerians to atone for wrong doings through restitution, as individuals and as a people, said that such would aid in healing the nation.
The revivalist preacher, known for his undiluted salvation message, said this while preaching to faithful’s at the Church’s headquarters in Lagos during a Workers Retreat.
He admonished people to take the act of restitution seriously, as a way of life.
According to him, when carried out, it goes down deeper in the mind and fabric of the person or land, as the case may be, to redeem every bruised part and also pave the way for a genuinely face, heart and soul mending.
Muoka said that the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ culminated in an act of restitution, to reconcile man with God after man disobeyed God.
He described the act of restitution as doing something to cause a social redeeming value to the person, society and land wrongly affected by one’s act.
He regretted the myriad of the nation’s affliction, and called on all to pay restitution to remedy the situation for the society to bounce back.
According to him, many, both leaders and followers, have done something that infringes on others and the land.
“The only option is for atonement to be executed for fence mending through return of those things wrongly taken from the masses.
“This is a biblical injunction that cannot be wishfully swept away. As a people, we have to do it to rescue our land and provoke God for a new beginning.
“This act is most needed now that the nation is going into transition period, to amend our national life spiritually and reposition it physically,” he said.
Muoka said that only God could enthrone the much needed credible leadership.
He said people should cry to God in prayers and supplications to institute good leadership in the country.
